We are very proud to be one of the 39 participants in Doors Open Richmond 2023, an event that provides the public with free opportunities to explore Richmond’s unique cultural, civic, and heritage sites. Richmond Museum in partnership with the City of Richmond is pleased to present a free weekend-long celebration that brings together residents and visitors to explore our city’s diverse and unique heritage.
Our doors will be open to the public on Saturday, June 3rd from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Visitors will be introduced to Ukrainian history and culture. They will have the opportunity to make a traditional Ukrainian craft and learn how to write their name in the Cyrillic alphabet. Also, visit our library to peruse our vast collection of books and view our cultural displays. We are located at 5311 Francis Road in Richmond.
Ми дуже пишаємося тим, що є одним із 39 учасників Doors Open Richmond 2023. Подія, яка надає громадськості безкоштовні можливості дослідити унікальні культурні та громадські об’єкти Річмонда. Музей Річмонда у партнерстві з міською владою Річмонда з радістю представляє безкоштовне святкування у вихідні дні, яке об’єднає жителів і відвідувачів, щоб дослідити різноманітну та унікальну спадщину нашого міста.
У суботу, 3 червня, з 13:00 до 16:00 наші двері в Товаристві української громади імені Івана Франка будуть відкриті для всіх. Відвідувачів ознайомлять з українською історією та культурою. Вони матимуть можливість виготовити традиційний український виріб та навчитися писати своє ім’я кирилицею. Також відвідайте нашу бібліотеку, щоб переглянути нашу величезну колекцію книг і переглянути наші культурні виставки.
