Our Society, in partnership with Brainchild Studio, is pleased to invite our members and volunteers to a performance of Thumbelina.
Our Society’s Musical Theatre group has been working very hard to prepare this performance. Thumbelina will be performed in English with songs sung in Ukrainian.
On Saturday, April 26th, come to Granville Island Arts Club Theatre (1585 Johnson St.) for a fundraiser that celebrates Ukrainian culture through song, music. From 11 am – 5 pm, enjoy a craft fair, art sale, Ukrainian food and free entertainment. At 7 pm, the gala benefit concert takes place featuring Luba Goy and the fabulous Dovbush dancers with many other great performers.

Once again, we are pleased to offer Ukrainian language classes. We are very fortunate to have Alla Dudka as our instructor. Alla has been offering classes for the past two years and we very much appreciate her expertise. Our classes are at a beginner level with the following three options:

We are excited to introduce our Children’s Ukrainian Musical Theatre classes! These classes focus on voice training, acting, plasticity, and creative development, and are conducted in both Ukrainian and English.

We are pleased to partner with Ukraina Dance Ensemble to offer Ukrainian dance classes for children on Fridays from 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm. These classes are offered to children between the ages of 6 and 12 years of age.
