Join us for a delicious Ukrainian meal at our upcoming Friday Night Supper on September 20th! A great option for getting out for dinner with family and friends. We are open for both dine-in and takeout from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm. We look forward to welcoming you on the 20th.

We are excited to introduce our Children’s Ukrainian Musical Theatre classes! These classes focus on voice training, acting, plasticity, and creative development, and are conducted in both Ukrainian and English.

Class Highlights:

• Bilingual Instruction: Classes are held in both Ukrainian and English.
• Parent Viewing: Every two months, parents can attend and observe the classes.
• Performances: Children will participate in performances for various holidays and special events.

Class Details:

• Location: Ukrainian Community Society of Ivan Franko, 5311 Francis Road, Richmond.
• Schedule: Twice a week (Monday and Thursday), from 16:00 to 18:30. Different start times are available for different age groups.
• Age Group: Classes are available for children aged 4 to 15.

Once again, we are pleased to offer Ukrainian language classes. We are very fortunate to have Alla Dudka as our instructor. Alla has been offering classes for the past two years and we very much appreciate her expertise. Our classes are at a beginner level with the following three options:

• Beginners level 1: No Ukrainian language experience. Night of the week to be determined. Lessons will be via Zoom.
• Beginners level 2: With some Ukrainian language experience. The students in this class have participated in 10 to 20 lessons and have some basic understanding. The class will be scheduled for one hour on Monday or Tuesday evenings via Zoom.  The night of the week to be determined.
• Beginners level 3: This is an advanced beginners class. Students in the class have been participating for one to two years and are comfortable having basic conversations. This class will be scheduled for one hour and fifteen minutes on Thursday evenings via Zoom.

We look forward to hosting our annual golf tournament on Sunday, September 15th, 2024 at Country Meadows Golf Course located in Richmond followed by dinner at our Society hall. The golf tournament is a Texas scramble format. The cost per golfer is $75 which includes the golf fee and dinner. We promise lots of great door prizes.
