The NewToBC website provides ready access to information on programs, resources, and services meant to support newcomers as they settle in British Columbia. Visitors can translate the content of the NewToBC website into a number of different languages (including Ukrainian) using the Google Translate feature. Key website features include
- a general description of library services and processes translated into 26 languages including Ukrainian
- an inventory of Immigrant Programs and Services that provides accurate and up-to-date information on free programs and services for newcomers in communities across British Columbia;
- a Settling in BC: Questions and Answers resource that connects newcomers to useable information on a range of settlement-related topics;
- a list of Useful Immigrant Settlement Guides and Websites that links newcomers to authoritative sources of information to support their settlement in Canada;
