Maple Hope Foundation invites you to experience a deeply moving performance based on the true story of a mother’s love for the son she lost.
Blending live performance, authentic audio recordings, documentary photographs, video projections, and live musical accompaniment, the performance invites audiences into an intimate story of transformation. It explores how love can evolve rather than disappear, and how unexpected acts of kindness can restore hope when everything feels lost.
The event is dedicated to the memory of the fallen. All proceeds will support bereavement programs for mothers who have lost their children to the war.

At the heart of the performance is the personal story of Hanna Kisilishyna — a mother, teacher, and artist, whose life was forever changed by the war in Ukraine. When Hanna loses her son, Azov defender Oleksii Kisilishyn, during the terrorist attack in Olenivka, her world comes to a halt. What follows is not only a journey through grief, but a search for meaning, healing, and the courage to live again. An exhibition of Hanna’s original paintings, created as part of her healing journey, accompanied by live music and poetry.
The exhibition will be displayed in the venue foyer from 5 PM to 7:30 PM and will be open to the public free of charge.
